There is a great deal of speculation in the families of the house of Auchtyfardle,near Lesmahagow.~ the house has been demolished { early 20th centuary } leaving only a gate post to a field { so I am led to believe } The families are to my knowledge ~ DICK / KENNEDY / MOSSMAN { various spellings }There is a reference to ROMANO which I cannot fit in.To my reference the MOSSMAN bought from the KENNEDYS of whom they were in business with.FACT ; All generations of MOSSMAN had a HUGH MOSSMAN { I think there was 5 of them }I am decended from Hugh MUSMAN DICK on my maternal line.I have further details.
